  • We have offices in downtown NYC, near Union Square and the West Village, and in Bergen County, NJ. We utilize a HIPAA-compliant platform to conduct virtual therapy sessions on your computer, tablet, or phone.

  • We are flexible to help you find the right time for your therapy. Each therapist has a unique schedule, but we will help coordinate and find a time that works for you. Contact Us to get more personalized information.

  • We are currently an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, Empire BCBS, Optum, and United Healthcare. As a courtesy, we submit claims on your behalf.

Wavelength therapists also accept out-of-pocket payments and will work with you to access your out-of-network benefits. They will send invoices and superbills directly to you at designated intervals.

Before your intake session, your therapist will verify your insurance coverage and discuss payment responsibility.

  • All payments are due at the time of service. We accept payment by credit card, Zelle, and cash.

Individual Sessions: $200/90 minutes intake, $180/60 minutes, $160/45 minutes

Couples & Family Sessions: $185/60 minutes

  • Therapy sessions range from 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs. How often you meet and how long you continue therapy is unique to you and will be influenced by factors including your schedule, therapist availability, your resources, and the nature of your life challenges.

  • To make therapy as accessible as possible, we reserve some sliding-scale slots for individuals without insurance. You can inquire about availability via our Contact Us form.

  • To ensure we can offer therapy services to others, not showing up or canceling within 24 hours will result in a forfeited session and responsibility for the full session fee. Please note that insurance companies do not typically reimburse for no-shows or late cancellations.

  • Step One: Send a message through our Contact Us page. Our client support team will connect you with a Wavelength therapist for a free 15-minute consultation call.

Step Two: Review and sign the electronic policy and intake forms sent to you before your first appointment.

Step Three: Your Wavelength clinician will email you to schedule a 90-minute initial session to learn about you, identify goals, and answer questions.

  • Don’t worry if your therapist doesn’t feel like a good fit; you have the right to choose. We will work to find the right therapist for you, even if that means referring to another practice.
